About Ann

Knowledgeable College Admissions Consulting

Ann Cadwallader, founder and president of My University Coach, has devoted her career college admissions consultant to helping high school students and their families navigate the college admissions process. She is dedicated to using her expertise in the field to reduce anxiety in both students and parents. The highest compliment that Ann receives each year is, “Thank you for helping me enjoy the high school years with my child and allowing us to maintain a healthy relationship with each other.”

Experience

Ann began her career working for The Princeton Review in 1992. She is a master trainer in the SAT, ACT, GRE, GMAT and LSAT. Over time, she has expanded her expertise to include an in-depth knowledge of college admission strategies. As a professional member of IECA, Ann exhibits the highest level of competence in college admissions counseling with a broad knowledge base ranging from standardized tests to college essays to interview prep. Ann knows teenagers! (God bless them.) She has taught high school math, coached both soccer and alpine skiing, and raised her own two sons. She understands that the high school years can be tumultuous and strives to help everyone make the ride less bumpy.

Education

Ann graduated from Stanford University in 1990 with a bachelor's degree in biology and the Carlson School of Management in 2006 with a master's degree in business. She has attended the Summer Training Institute offered by IECA to become an efficient and effective independent educational consultant. Ann's credentials are both impressive and reassuring. Working with Ann, you can be confident you are getting a serious professional.

Professional Integrity

Ann is committed to staying current through many modes of professional training. She attends national and local workshops, conferences, webinars, and seminars to understand all of the latest trends. Ann is equally commited to maintaining a high standard of ethics in her practice as a college admissions consultant and pledges to avoid any action that distorts or misrepresents a student's record or interferes with admission personnel's ability to get an accurate picture of the student.

Ann has visited over 150 colleges in her career. In doing so she understands the stand out features, physical location, general admission criteria, and type of student who is best served by each institution. This knowledge gives her important insight when making good matches between her students and colleges.
